The Statue of Liberty now has a Mamava pod for pumping and nursing moms.

New York, N.Y. — Just in time for summer, visiting moms now have a place to pump or breastfeed when they visit the Statue of Liberty. The Mamava pod provides moms with a private, comfortable, and clean space. As Marsha Takeda-Morrison writes in Mom.me:

“Breastfeeding moms, in case your travel plans this summer include a visit to the Statue of Liberty, don’t worry about finding a dark corner or cramped bathroom to feed your baby. The iconic attraction has just installed a lactation suite that will have you feeling as free as Lady Liberty herself.”

Read more about how breastfeeding moms are now supported at the Statue of Liberty here. Traveling breastfeeding moms can use the Mamava locater app to find over 4000 places to pump or nurse wherever they go (and never a bathroom!) Mamava’s mission is to change the culture of breastfeeding, making it more accessible and optimistic for all moms.

Mamava designs solutions to empower breastfeeding and pumping mamas on the go, like our freestanding lactation pods and lactation space locator app.
