Walmart is the first retailer to support moms with Mamava pods
Breastfeeding moms rejoice! Walmart just installed Mamava pods for guests and associates in three stores: Bentonville, Arkansas, Gilbert, Arizona, and Williston, Vermont. Walmart is the first retailer in the U.S. to install Mamava pods in stores.
The three Mamava pod installations are a pilot project spearheaded by Tennille Webb, a Walmart associate and mother, to make sure moms—both Walmart guests and associates—have a private space to pump or nurse. Walmart has 5,000 stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
"To hear moms in all the cities that we have this pilot going tell us, 'I’m so happy this is here. I’m so grateful,' it's incredibly fulfilling," Webb told "Good Morning America." "It’s probably in the top three things that I’ve done— and have been able to be part of— in my life."
To that end, Walmart wants to hear what you think about this initiative! Take this short survey to share your feedback.
