Welcoming TalkBox: Mamava Expands Mission to Support More People in More Places

A message from Christine Dodson, Mamava CEO and Cofounder:

At Mamava, we’ve always believed that everyone deserves space. We created the first freestanding lactation pod and have helped thousands of organizations of all sizes support breastfeeding parents with comfort, privacy, and dignity.

What started as a mission to make the world more welcoming for breastfeeding parents has grown into a movement for inclusive, supportive spaces in workplaces and public places everywhere.

Today, we’re excited to share the next step in that journey: Mamava has acquired TalkBox, a Colorado-based company that designs sound-resistant privacy booths for calls, focused work, and telehealth.

A natural evolution of our mission

As organizations increasingly realize the need to support employee wellness, inclusivity, and flexible work environments, we recognized that the need for private, human-centered spaces extends far beyond lactation. Acquiring TalkBox empowers us to reach and serve more people, and to deepen our impact.

With the acquisition of TalkBox, Mamava becomes the first, only, and most trusted provider of full-spectum privacy space needs in the U.S.—serving parents, patients, and professionals wherever supportive space is needed.

We’re proud to take this next step, building on the foundation of innovation, purpose, and care that has defined Mamava since the start.

Stay tuned as we share more about this exciting next chapter—and the new ways we’ll continue to support people and organizations through design, comfort, and connection.
